Since 1978
Clothing for the moments between.
OSKA is a small house of designers, pattern-makers and craftspeople, working from a studio on the edge of a forest. We make clothing for people who would rather wear something well than buy something new.
01
Slow by design
Two collections a year, conceived eighteen months ahead. Pieces are drafted, prototyped, worn and revised before they reach you — the opposite of fashion's calendar.
02
Honest materials
Linen from Belgium, wool from the Italian foothills, organic cotton spun in Portugal. We name our mills because we visit them, and because you should be able to ask.
03
Cut to last
Generous proportions, finished by hand where it counts. The shapes are forgiving on purpose — bodies change, and a wardrobe should be patient about it.
The Studio
A workshop, not a factory.
The OSKA studio sits at the edge of the Bavarian forest, in a converted barn that has been our home since the early eighties. It's where every garment begins — sketched on paper, draped on a stand, cut and re-cut until the proportion is right.
We work with twelve workshops across Europe. Each one is independent, family-run, and has been on the OSKA label for at least a decade. None of them are large.
We don't design seasonally. We design for the wardrobe someone keeps for years.

Heritage
Forty-six years, in passing.
1978
The label is founded in a converted barn outside Munich. The first collection is six pieces, all in linen.
1992
The first OSKA store opens in Hamburg. It is also a tea-room. The combination is short-lived; the store is not.
2006
A long-term partnership begins with a family weaving mill in Vicenza. Their wool still anchors every winter collection.
2019
All packaging moves to FSC-certified paper and seaweed-based mailers. The previous plastics take six months to phase out and one weekend to forget.
2024
OSKA Atelier launches — a small line of made-to-order pieces with hand-finishing visible from the inside.
